Afghanistan is Over, I Guess

America has ended its quixotic mission to civilize Afghanistan in failure. It has left citizens and billions of dollars of military equipment behind as the final flight departed from the Kabul Airport. This is a catastrophic failure of the Biden Administration, the US military leadership, the greedy US defense contractors, the sclerotic intel services, and the overall bipartisan elite who purport to rule us. One way or another, in the wake of this failure, heads will roll–either in Afghanistan or in Washington, D.C.
