“We now know from various accounts that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, as well as former CIA Director David Petraeus, advocated an ambitious program of arming various Syrian rebel factions in the Syrian Civil War. Theirs was not a popular policy even among the Obama national security team. In fact, it was so unpopular that the Obama team decided not to make an official determination about whether or not to arm the Syrian rebels. In this murky area of indecision they hatched a plan for a limited program to move weapons from Libya into Syria through Turkey.”
“It’s time to face the fact that the United States has become the battleground for a ridiculous proxy war between two cousins, Ukraine and Russia. It’s no different than how the United States was the victim of an internal blood feud within Islam on September 11, 2001.”
I cut through the partisan miasma and actually perform a cost/benefit analysis of Putin’s proposed joint-Russian-U.S. cyber warfare unit.
I talk about my groundbreaking article on the timeline of the evolution of the Trump-Russia collusion narrative.
“While it is fair to state that political operators, such as Paul Manafort and Carter Page (who are more or less hired guns working for the highest bidder), had some odd dealings in their past with unsavory Russian figures, and while it is also fair to claim that the Trump Organization—a multinational corporation—may have done business with entities linked to Russia, that does not mean that Donald Trump is working in collusion with Russia to advance Russian interests. More important, there is no proof indicating that either Trump or his campaign colluded with Russia to “steal” the election from Hillary Clinton.”
In this Election Night Podcast, I proffer calming words and soothing advice for those audience members who are involved in investing or those who are members of foreign governments, caught totally unawares by Trump’s apparent victory (you wouldn’t have been surprised, had you listened to The Weichert Report more carefully). Anyway, needless to say, there will be great opportunity in the days ahead. Please listen and share!
I give a deeper analysis on why I think Donald Trump is going to win and how both the people in America and leaders in select important countries will and should react.
